Makylie already had experience centering the user in her designs when she made the switch to UX/UI design. Her background in graphic design and marketing helped ground her in visual arts, but studying UX/UI let her see the strategy and purpose behind her art. At Ventive, she likes the challenge of applying her skills to a variety of industries.
When she’s not thinking about UX/UI work, Makylie works on personal painting and photography projects, testing out new mediums and trying new concepts. She loves hiking in Moab and hanging out in downtown Salt Lake City with friends. She hit the ground running, churning out fresh ideas from day one that have sparked inspiration across the design team.
