An Idaho-based company needed to upgrade its business processes and integrate its healthcare EDI with Molina Healthcare.Thousands of health insurance and healthcare companies have disparate software systems, making EDI integration not only complex but expensive—it’s difficult to find developers with the exact experience needed for a particular EDI.Because the healthcare company only served patients with Medicaid and Medicare insurance, possible solutions were limited to little-known government software and standards.
Bogged down by archaic paper and manual processes, a Boise DME/PPE (Durable Medical Equipment/Personal Protective Equipment) provider was struggling to keep up with their rapidly growing demand—making their goal of supporting patients in obtaining their needed DME and PPE a strenuous one. Pure Vita Co. founders spent countless hours wishing they could find a way to use technology to connect and enhance the healthcare experience for patients. Identifying a need for automation and full-service ordering, Pure Vita Co. enlisted the Ventive Team to help develop their idea and invent a user-friendly, full-cycle ordering application that gets needed equipment into patient hands faster.
The complex nature of American healthcare makes it difficult for providers and patients to partner together for the best end results. PracticePal founders saw that patients in their optometry practice couldn’t use their full vision benefits since they often didn’t even know what was included in their plan. Additionally, their office staff’s time was consumed by insurance issues. Together, Ventive and PracticePal designed a product that allowed them to decrease their insurance verification process time by 83%, see more patients, and reduce staff hours spent on administrative tasks.

UC-One is often mentioned in Cisco’s decision to acquire Broadsoft for $1.9 Billion.
