Jay Upadhyay is not only a QA engineer but also a junior software developer, an electronics engineer, and a cybersecurity researcher. Jay graduated with minor in Electronics & Communication and major in Computer & Information Science.
As a cybersecurity researcher, Jay worked at Washkewicz Center for Research in Electronics & Aerospace Technology, partnered with NASA’s John H. Glenn Research Center located in Cleveland, Ohio. His contributions involved statistical analysis, threat analysis and modeling, human cognitive models, and reinforcement learning specifically in the field of data communications and networks.
Jay has experience in front-end and back-end development, including proficiency in popular Java frameworks such as Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, JUnit, and PHP-Laravel. Jay performs Quality Assurance and Maintenance Support for large-scale web and mobile applications for Ventive clients PorchLight Real Estate Group, PIYP (Practice In Your Pocket), Swipebox, CAARE (Consumer Advocates in American Real Estate), Reader Zone, and Wevorce.
Additionally, Jay works with a creative team of engineers in order to improve and maintain an internal project resource management tools known as BOLT, and Ventive Self Service App that has been used for managing and amplifying business development process faster and easier.
